Indian diaspora from Dubai chip in their support by sending oxygen cylinders

India has been subjected to various difficulties and numerous lives have been lost due to the second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic. The number of COVID affected patients has crossed four lakhs. The demand for oxygen cylinders and medical equipment for the victims is steadily increasing with each coming day.

Earlier, during the first wave, India sent medical supplies to various countries. In response, many countries are now extending assistance to India. In light of this situation, the Indian community currently living in Qatar has made a small contribution on behalf of their country to address the oxygen shortage required for corona treatment in India.

In connection with the same, 232 cylinders of oxygen were sent to India on behalf of the Indian diaspora from Qatar, UAE. It is also worth noting that all of these cylinders were shipped by the naval vessel INS Tarkas. Commenting on this, they said, “India is currently facing a difficult situation. We have extended whatever little assistance we can to help them come out of this ordeal.”
