Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences on Twitter in connection with the terror attacks that took place in Nice in France on Thursday. An attacker armed with a knife killed three people at a church in the city of Nice.
“I strongly condemn the recent terrorist attacks in France, including today’s heinous attack in Nice inside a church. Our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and the people of France. India stands with France in the fight against terrorism.” PM Modi tweeted.
India has also come out in support against the personal attacks that had been directed towards French President Emmanuel Macron due to his tough stand against radical Islamic terrorism. The Ministry of External Affairs called it a violation of the basic rules of International Discourse. It went on to condemn the attacks that took the life of a French teacher in a gruesome manner.

Leaders across the globe like Germany’s chancellor Angela Merkel and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson joined hands in condemning the ghastly attacks.
