“India Has The Right Leader At The Right Time”, Chandrababu Naidu On Modi As Other NDA Leaders Too Shower Accolades

Narendra Modi assumed key leadership positions within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Parliamentary Party, as well as the role of Leader of the Lok Sabha on 7 June 2024, paving the path for his term as Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive time. The unified support of the BJP and its coalition partners in forming the next central government prompted accolades from Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Chandrababu Naidu.

In endorsing Modi for the premiership, Naidu emphasized Modi’s visionary leadership and effective implementation of policies, remarking on India’s favorable prospects under his stewardship. Naidu asserted that India is currently led by the right individual in Modi, and failing to capitalize on this opportunity would be a loss for the nation. He credited Modi with India’s remarkable progress on the global stage and expressed confidence in India’s potential to become the world’s third-largest economy under Modi’s leadership.

Chandrababu Naidu said, “Narendra Modi has a vision and a zeal, his execution is very perfect. He is executing all his policies with a true spirit…Today, India is having the right leader at the right time – that is Narendra Modi. This is a very good opportunity for India, if you miss now, we will miss forever…”

I have been in politics for the last four decades, I have seen so many leaders. I can give the entire credit to Narendra Modi ji for making India proud globally. That is his biggest achievement for the country. Under his leadership, we have reached the fifth-largest economy in the world. Now, we are confident during this tenure he is going to make India, the third-largest economy in the world. At the same time, he is planning Viksit Bharat Vision 2047. Under his leadership, if you go anywhere in the world, the highest per capita income is earned by Indians. I am confident. Under his leadership, Indians are going to become global leaders in the near future, Naidu added.

Echoing Naidu’s sentiments, other BJP allies, including Nitish Kumar of the Janata Dal United (JDU), Chirag Paswan of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), and Ajit Pawar of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), also endorsed Modi as the NDA Parliamentary Party leader and consequently as the Prime Ministerial candidate.

Paswan, in particular, praised Modi for his pivotal role in the NDA’s electoral triumph, attributing it to Modi’s unwavering determination. He highlighted India’s ascent to the fifth-largest economy globally under Modi’s tenure, affirming the public’s trust in his leadership.

Chirag Paswan said, “I congratulate my Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is because of you that NDA has achieved this massive victory. The credit for this goes to you. It was that willpower that helped in recording such a massive victory in history. It was not a normal thing that NDA kept getting such a big victory under the leadership of the Prime Minister for the third time in a row…Because of you, today in front of the world we can proudly say that India has become the fifth-largest economy of the country. The people of India have full faith in you.

Pawan Kalyan of the Jana Sena Party added his endorsement, lauding Modi’s inspirational leadership and asserting India’s resilience under his governance. Pawan Kalyan said, “Modi ji you truly inspire the nation. As long as you are the Prime Minister of this country, our country will never bow down to anyone”

Modi’s swearing-in ceremony as Prime Minister is scheduled for Sunday, 9 June 2024.
