How DMK And Dravidian Stockist Media Are Making A Hero Out Of A Convicted Terrorist

A man who was part of killing the head of state of a sovereign nation was set free by the country’s Supreme Court on May 18, 2022.

His release comes just ahead of the 31st anniversary of the assassination of the late Indian Prime Minister.

As news came of his release, the convicted criminal was seen rejoicing playing the ‘parai’ (folk drum) with his supporters.

While the Congress in Tamil Nadu lies in a pathetic state with white cloth tied to its mouth, unable to even stand up for its late leader, its alliance partner DMK on the other hand, has accorded a hero’s welcome to the man who supplied 9V batteries to bomb the former Indian Prime Minister.

Chief Minister MK Stalin hailed the verdict congratulating the convicted criminal on his release. He said that the judgement was not about the liberation of an individual but will also remain as the grammar for ‘federalism’ and ‘state autonomy’. Calling the convicted criminal his ‘brother’, CM Stalin even hugged him and called his release a ‘huge victory’ for the state.

The DMK which even today has been calling late AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa as a convict based on the disproportionate assets case verdict, is today hugging a convicted terrorist who abetted the assassination of a former Prime Minister of the country!

That Mr. Stalin as Chief Minister, audaciously celebrates the relase of this convicted terrorist is yet another proof that the DMK is a party that is anti-thetical to the Indian nation. A Chief Minister, who has taken oath of office to uphold the sovereignty and integrity of India, is hugging a convicted terrorist who was hand-in-glove in bombing the Prime Minister of this country. By doing so, Stalin has not just set a bad precedent but has brought disrepute to the Constitutional office he is holding.

On the other hand, Dravidian Stockists of Kollywood have also been shaping popular opinion in favour of the convicted criminal and his mother ‘Arputham Ammal’.

“Justice and Arputham Ammal’s war-like nature has triumphed”, wrote actor and part-time politician Kamal Haasan.

Film music composer G.V. Prakash Kumar called the verdict as the victory of a mother’s affection.

Karthik Subbaraj, a film director has apparently been waiting for long for the convicted criminal’s release.

And then there is yesteryear film director’s son Shanthnu leaving fire emojis for the convicted criminal.

But of all these, the most appalling and dangerous reactions have come from the Dravidian Stockist media like The News Minute, Times of India, Vikatan, Red Pix and others who have been leaving no stone unturned to portray the convicted terrorist as a ‘freedom fighter’.

This is the front page of the Chennai edition of Times of India.

This terrorist convicted for abetting the assassination of a former Indian Prime Minister is being elevated to the status of a ‘revolutionary freedom fighter’.

Not just that, paeans are being sung about the convicted criminal’s mother and her alleged ‘struggle’. It is being peddled as if the convicted terrorist’s mother was fighting a lone battle against the ‘Indian State’ to get justice for her wronged son.

This is how the Editor-in-Chief of The News Minute, a portal known for towing the line of the DMK and the left, broke the news of the terrorist’s release.

Another story by the Dravidian Stockist portal, exaggerates and peddles a narrative about the convicted criminal’s mother saying “The perseverance, the thousands of miles that she has walked carrying a small bag and big hopes, has finally paid off. ”

However, the fact of the matter is that she has been getting the support of every Dravidian party all through her years. But one fact has been drowned by in all the noise created by the Dravidian Stock media is that she is the MOTHER OF A CONVICTED TERRORIST!

For years, successive state governments in Tamil Nadu and the Central Government have dilly-dallied in bringing the case to a closure.

However, The News Minute, playing second fiddle to its masters, has been trying hard with articles, videos and interviews pinning the blame on the Governor of Tamil Nadu for the delay. But that is not the worrying part.

What should concern every Indian is that the Dravidian Stockist along with its coterie in the media are now rallying for the release of the other 6 convicts.
