Gujarat’s Alpha Missionary comes under LRO’s radar for illegal conversion using foreign money

The global network of evangelist missionaries, with the help of their allies in India, has been using foreign funds to convert people to Christianity through fraud, coercion, and such. The latest to come to light who have been secretly plotting to convert India’s Hindu population is the Alpha Missionary Movement.

The Legal Rights Observatory (LRO), which monitors FCRA irregularities and the misappropriation of foreign funds, has found that that the Alpha International Ministry run by Alpha Bible Churches received ₹11.44 crore from foreign sources for illegal proselytizing.

The same Alpha International Ministry has stated that it is involved in Church Plantation in India, Nepal, Africa, Myanmar and Asia. Church Plantation is the process which involves the establishment of churches locally in areas where they are not already present as soon as possible.

The LRO has written to the Home Ministry seeking an inquiry into the Gujarat-based Alpha Missionary Movement, which receives funding from the US-based Alpha International Ministry.
