Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan visited Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) in Hyderabad and consoled the doctors who were tested positive for COVID19 and currently undergoing treatment.
She enquired about the health of all the doctor’s in the hospital and praised them for their selfless service. She also asked the doctor’s to take care of themselves and promised that she would ask the Telangana government to test all doctors.
Governor Tamilisai also emphasized on the need to increase testing in the state. “Though the tests are being held on ICMR guidelines, there is a need to increase the number of tests,” she said.
So far, around four professors, eight resident doctors and eight paramedical staff have tested positive for coronavirus at NIMS.
