Lord Ram belongs to the Ikshawaku clan and it is considered that Sri Ranganathar is the deity of that clan. It is the custom of the Hindus to worship their kula deivam (ancestral deity) and start anything.
Bhoomi Puja for the construction of the Ram Temple will be held on August 5 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
