Justice Hima Kohli on Thursday (January 7), was sworn in as the new Chief Justice of Telangana High Court with Telangana Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan administering the oath of office at a small government function organized at the Raj Bhavan.
Kohli, who was a judge of Delhi High Court is the first female Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Union MoS (Home) G Kishan Reddy, several Telangana ministers and other dignitaries attended the function.
Justice Hima Kohli succeeds justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan, who has been transferred to Uttarakhand High Court.
