Former Telangana Minister Gutta Mohan Reddy has been booked for threatening his workers at gunpoint. According to sources, he had tried to hit the local contractor and JCB driver at gunpoint. The video of this act done by the former minister has gone viral on social media.
The workers had allegedly been threatened when they were expanding a canal on Reddy’s land. As per reports, the land has been acquired for Pillapally canal and the land of the former minister has also been acquired for construction of the canal. Following this, it is also reported that in exchange for the acquisition of land, the former minister had to pay compensation from the government, which has been given.
As soon as the contractor, engineer, JCB driver, labourer reached there on Sunday for its construction work, Gutta Mohan Reddy also came there shortly and seeing the canal work, he took out the gun and threatened everyone to leave from there. It is reported that after this act of the former minister, the victims have filed a case with the police. A case has been filed against Reddy under the Arms Act. There are reports that he may be arrested soon.
