Ever seen a white crow? This village in TN has

The public in Ambur were amazed to see a rare white crow circling above the densely populated streets of the town. It was reported that, for the last 2 days, a white crow has been circling above the streets in Mittalam village next to Ambur, Tirupathur district.

Children and adults of the area were amazed to see this rare species of crow flying in the residential areas of Mittalam. Some tried to lure the white crow near their house by giving it fruit and grains.

While crows are known to be black and ubiquitous, the people of the village, were eleated to see the white crow.

When asked about this to Dr Anbu Selvam, a veterinarian from Tirupattur district, he said, “In general, DNA deficiency in all living beings, including humans, birds, animals and plants, causes albinism. This will change the colour of the skin on the body. Similarly, the white crow may have changed colour due to the same deficiency.” He added, saying, “In addition to this, melanin deficiency can cause whitening of the skin. Crows are white in many states in India.”
