Hypocrisy thy name is the Dravidianist regime in TN. This would fit the ruling DMK perfectly for their stance in the Hindi/3 language policy issue in the state warring against the centre. While the DMK members speak up against the policies of the centre with respect to education, and pretend to be saviours of Tamil language and culture, their own members would be a part of a CBSE school that teaches Hindi to its students in the state.
These are private schools which have implemented the NEP 2020 and offer 3 language learning system to its students. But when it comes to government schools, the DMK does not want to do anything with it.
Interestingly, MK Stalin’s daughter Senthamarai Sabareesan runs a CBSE school in Chennai called Sunshine Group of Educational Institutions.
Under this umbrella, you have multiple educational institutions which offer CBSE curriculum and yes, Hindi is among the subjects that students learn.

In light of this, senior leader and Tamil Nadu BJP state Convenor of the Coordination Committee, H. Raja, has called out Chief Minister MK Stalin for his hypocrisy. The DMK has tried to frame the situation as an effort by the Centre to impose Hindi in Tamil Nadu, but their actions have been met with sharp counters from the Tamil Nadu BJP. This backlash followed the Centre’s decision to withhold funds unless the new education policy, including the three-language formula, was implemented.
In this context, H. Raja ridiculed CM MK Stalin, saying, “If Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister @mkstalin is determined to abolish Hindi, can he start by doing so at the Velachery Sunshine Montessori School run by his daughter Senthamarai Sabareesan, and at the 45 CBSE schools run by his party members and alliance partners across Tamil Nadu?”

This comes in the wake of CM MK Stalin issued a statement, accompanied by a poem, advocating for the eradication of Hindi. On his official X account, Chief Minister MK Stalin shared, “O Hindi language, in the midst of this joyful Dravidian land, it is you who will be cast aside. O Hindi, that has caused so much suffering, your cunningness will not deceive us! When Tamil youth speak, they open their mouths to the sweet Tamil, lovingly given by their mother. If we are force fed you, then is it not also our duty to destroy you? – Revolutionary poet Bharathidasan.”
