Anbazhagan, incumbent MLA of Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni constituency belonging to the DMK who tested positive for the Wuhan virus is in critical condition, a statement released by the hospital he is admitted in said.
He was admitted at a private hospital in Chennai on June 2, 2020. The 61 year old MLA is said to have presented severe acute respiratory distress. He was then put on ventilator as his respiratory distress worsened. He has been getting 80% of oxygen supply through ventilator and his condition has remained unchanged for the last 24 hours, the statement said.
