The DMK government has taken the decision to suspend an Assistant Police Inspector for sharing a comment in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Sekhar, Assistant Police Inspector had shared a comment on social media in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He wrote, “CM MK Stalin told the previous state government to give ₹5000 as Pongal gift. But instead of giving it to the people now, he is asking the PM for the ₹15 lakhs that was not even promised by the latter.”
The DMK government, has suspended the Inspector with immediate effect for ‘violating the code of conduct’.
BJP Tamil Nadu spokesperson SG Suryah condemned the DMK government as a fascist and an oppressive regime where freedom of speech and expression is at stake.
