The DMK seems to be on an abusing spree with one of its top leaders once again objectionable comments by speaking about late former Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
DMK MP from Chennai Central constituency Dayanidhi Maran was campaigning in the Kinathukadhavu constituency for the party’s candidate Kurichi Prabhakaran for the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections.
During the campaign, the DMK MP said while taking a jibe about the earlier remarks made by Tamil Nadu Dairy Development Minister Rajenthra Balaji said “Minister Rajenthira Balaji says Jayalalithaa is their ‘Amma’ (mother) and Modi is their ‘daddy’. Look at the kind of relationship they have. If we say this, they will it is wrong.”
The DMK MP’s remarks just days after its the party’s Deputy General Secretary A. Raja, who is also an MP, slandered Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami by speaking ill of the latter’s mother who recently passed away.
Many on social media have now condemned the remarks made by Dayanidhi Maran. Political commentator and YouTuber Maridhas called it another incident in the series of abusive remarks made by DMK leaders.

BJP Tamil Nadu Spokesperson SG Suryah tweeted when the DMK MP would be apologizing for the remarks. He also remarked that the DMK chief MK Stalin should organize an ‘apology asking meeting’ to apologize for all the crass remarks made by the party leaders.
