Communist China accuses democratic US to end human rights violation and discrimination

China, which has been elected member of the U.N. Human Rights Council, has just finished reviewing the U.S. human rights record. In a classic case of the pot calling the kettle, China using the official platform of the UN in a series of tweet said, “China wishes to recommend to the U.S.: 1. Root out systematic racism, address widespread police brutality and combat discrimination against African- and Asian-Americans….”

Using the UN platform, China told America that it must not politicize COVID-19 virus which Donald Trump had called the China Virus and ‘Kung Fu’ Virus. This tweet could be seen as a direct message to Joe Biden who won the just concluded presidential elections. However, it must be noted Trump has still not conceded defeat.

China accused America of taking harsh measures against immigrants and taking a jibe at the Republican party said, there is increasing religious intolerance and xenophobia in parties.

It also called upon America to stop interfering politically in the affairs of other countries under the pretext of human rights. What this tweet meant was there must be no interference in Hong Kong and Taiwan as China claims them to bring it under its control.

China has been making all these statements against the USA when it has put over one million Uyghurs Muslims in concentration camps and has launched a crackdown on democratic activists in Hong Kong.

At the same time, the communist regime using its economic muscle has border disputes with practically all its neighbours from the South China Sea, Sea of Japan, and India where the military of both nations is on an eyeball position at the Line of Actual Control.

It is ironic that China should talk about human rights when it uses all the powers of the state to suppress freedom of speech and expression. A while back there were protests in the inner Mongolian region because China tried to impose mandarin over the local dialect.

As there is political uncertainty and for the first time in the American democratic process, there could be trouble in the peaceful transition of power.

Overall regardless of the prevailing social and economic situation, the USA is still the most preferred passport for everyone and many Chinese try to become permanent residents and try to take the route to citizenship.
