Following the recent comments made by A Raja upon EPS’ mother, the Tamilnadu CM broke down at one of his election rallies at Thiruvotriyur, Chennai.
Speaking at the rally, he said, “It was truly a disgusting speech. Is this how they speak if chief minister is a common man? If this is the treatment given to the state’s chief minister, who will protect the common people? Imagine what will happen to women if such people come to the power. It is not just my story that I am talking about here, but that of all the people, since everyone is born to a mother.”
He went on to say, “A lesson should be taught to the people who are talking filthily about women and motherhood. My mother was born in a village, and was a farmer who worked day and night. She is no more now. It is even more disgusting because of the fact that he spoke ill about her.”
He then teared up, saying, “All mothers and women of the state should imagine what will happen if these people come to the power. The words that he uttered are truly unforgivable. People should wake up to the reality and realise the third-rate nature of the DMK, and refrain from voting for them.”
