In a new development at the Line of Control (LoC), Chinese manufactured hexacopters are being used by the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) to deliver weapons to to Islamic terrorists groups in Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistan had received these hexacopters along with T-97 NSR rifles (manufactured by Norinco) which the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) uses as an inducement by the Chinese government to secure the CPEC projects. China has provided Pakistan’s Frontier Force with the same rifles.
Indian intelligence agencies are monitoring the threat as things would get more difficult with the coming of winter.
The ISI which has been providing covert support to Islamic terrorist groups for a long time has resorted to this strategy to supply as many weapons as possible so that the jihadists can carry out terror strikes against the security forces. Since 2019, Islamic terrorists have been finding it difficult to carry out major strikes against the security forces and are now targeting civilians who they deem as collaborators.
This new method has been adopted by Pakistan after the Indian Army in-principle decided not to open fire on unarmed intruder trying to cross over into India. This new plan allows Pakistan to send men and weapons over the LoC separately as the terrorists will have to carry less weight, allowing them to move fast.
In a report published in the Sunday Guardian Live, a senior Intelligence officer said, “The nexus between China and Pakistan in arming the terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir is becoming more evident with every passing day. The evidence we have of Chinese ‘goods’ being used to spread terror in India are too many,”.
However, due to high vigilance at the border, Indian security forces have managed to seize lots of weapons caches. Weapons so far recovered from the LoC are two China-made QBZ 95 rifles, 47 rifle, one M16 Rifle and two pistols which were smuggled across the IB fence in Ferozpur Kudian at the international border along with several assortments of deadly weapons capable of inflicting serious damage to our security forces.
