A Congress MLA’s car carrying expensive liquor was intercepted by the police in Simri, Bihar. Sanjay Kumar, the Congress MLA from Buxar said that he had given his car to be used for distribution of ration in Jagdishpur area and that he has no clue as to how is car was in Simri, where it was caught by the police.
The police have arrested 4 people who were found in the car with the liquor. An FIR has been registered, Buxar SP Upendra Nath Sharma said.

Earlier, another Congress’s leader vehicle was caught carrying expensive liquor, misusing the essential services pass. In this incident, National Secretary of Congress party Sravan Rao who is also the in charge of Disaster Management of the Congress Party, was allegedly involved. Rao was caught at the Delhi-Gurgaon border carrying expensive liquor during the lockdown, misusing the essential service pass. An FIR was filed in this case too. The car that was seized belonged to Congress Youth Wing leader Srinivas BV.
