In a comical incident, thieves who had broke into DMK General Secretary Duraimurugan’s bungalow in Yelagiri, had left a disappointed message written in lipstick saying ‘Can’t you keep atleast a hundred rupees?’ after they found nothing to steal.
DMK General Secretary Duraimurugan owns a luxury bungalow on 25 acres in Manjakollai in Yelagiri Hills, Tirupattur district. This is the place where he takes retreat. Even during the lockdown, the DMK General Secreatry was put up in this house for months. Now, a security guard named Prem Kumar resides there as the caretaker.
Two days ago, some unidentified persons had entered into Duraimurugan’s bungalow and had even broken to bureaus to steal. As they found nothing, the left a disappointed message on the wall written in lipstick saying ‘Can’t you keep atleast a hundred rupees?’.
They even left a message in the visitors book saying ‘There was not even a rupee. Why build such a big bungalow if there is not even a 100 rupees?’
Playing Cards were also found in the spot suggesting that they had played games at the house. Police are now investigating the matter.
