In yet another balderdash, DMK leader Karthikeya Sivasenapathy stated that the American President did not visit the site of the Twin Tower terrorist attack after it was destroyed to justify CM Stalin not visiting Coimbatore blast site.
In an interview to OneIndia Tamil youtube channel, DMK Environment Wing Secretary Karthikeya Sivasenapathy while responding to a question on why the Chief Minister MK Stalin has not visited the blast site in Coimbatore, said,” He (Annamalai) know very well that when Chief Minister is visiting the blast site, a lot has to be done for his security. Will the police prioritise securing evidence at the blast site or providing security for the Chief Minister?”
He implied that Chief Minister Stalin is not interested in photo ops, but rather in his work, and that he possesses the necessary knowledge and power.
He further added, ” When the Twin Towers in the United States were attacked by terrorist, the President did not visit the site, and no one questioned him about it. That is political maturity .”
However, Netizens were quick to point out that the then-US President George Bush visited the Twin Towers site on September 14, 2001 and delivered the famous “Bullhorn” speech, and that the President delivered the address on the third day following the Twin Towers’ collapse.

Netizens mocked DMK Karthikeya Sivasenapathy, asking if he needed American presidential politics when he does not understand local politics.
Few days ago, DMK Karthikeya Sivasenapathy was mocked for trivialising the Coimbatore blast by claiming that the suicide bomber obtained the explosives for farming purposes.
