BJP wins Nagar Panchayat elections in Beed in Maharashtra, Congress candidate gets “Zero” votes

In a major embarrassment for the Maha Vikas Agadi and the Congress Party which is also part of the coalition in Maharashtra, its candidate in the Nagar Panchayat elections polled “Zero” in the Beed district poll.

In the recently concluded Nagar Panchayat elections Congress candidate named Fakir Shabber Babu from Beed district polled ‘Zero’ votes and in the same ward the BJP won by a big margin.

This loss has now sent a shockwave in Congress which has lost a lot of ground in Maharastra and this victory by the BJP is also not a good sign for the Shiv Sena and the NCP in the state.
