On behalf of the Karur unit of the BJP, the first phase of the door-to-door relief kits was held in Vengamedu area of Karur constituency where rice, pulses and vegetables were provided for the physically challenged people.
The initiative, spearheaded by BJP leader VV Senthilnathan, was presided by the BJP Karur District President Sivasami. BJP Tamil Nadu Vice President K. Annamalai inaugurated the event and participated in providing relief kits to the people.
