In a positive development emanating from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has introduced a new vision for education in this oil-rich country.
As per reports published in eastcoastdaily, the new education “Vision 2030” will include the history and culture of other countries including India.
Students in Saudi Arabia will be taught Ramayana and Mahabharata along with globally significant Indian cultures such as yoga and Ayurveda.
Also, the English language has been made mandatory in the new Vision 2030.
Nouf-al-Marwai who is the first Saudi Yogacharya and a Padmashri Awardee, and founder of @saudiyoga in a tweet said, “Saudi Arabia’s new vision-2030 and syllabus will help build a future that is inclusive, liberal, and tolerant.
