The accused is a native of Araria district in Bihar and has been working in Bengaluru as a daily-wage labourer and pipe-fitter for the past few months, police said.
According to officials, the video surfaced on Tuesday morning on an Instagram account named ‘jnxkingh_g’. It begins with footage of the exterior of Vidhana Soudha before using AI-generated visual effects to depict a massive explosion inside the historic building.

Following the incident, Vidhana Soudha police registered a First Information Report (FIR) and traced the internet protocol (IP) logs and digital footprints associated with the Instagram account. The investigation led to Ali’s arrest.
