AltNews’ Mohammad Zubair harasses Hindu woman online who supported building of Ram Mandir at Ram Janmabhoomi

A British Indian woman and an indigenous rights activist who had expressed her thoughts on the Bhoomi Poojan day was harassed by self-proclaimed liberals and abusive trolls for speaking in support of building the Ram Mandir at Ram Janmabhoomi.

Kamya, in her Instagram account had posted a picture of her in traditional Indian attire holding a lamp with the caption “Happy Diwali” to commemorate the Ram Mandir Bhoomi Poojan day and hailed it as reclamation of indigenous heritage.

While she has been receiving appreciation for embracing her Hindu heritage, she was cyber-bullied by a section of the liberal fundamentalists and Islamists.

Unable to withstand the bullying, she broke down and said that she was never bullied in the UK for singing Bhajans or wearing a Bindi but she had to face Hinduphobia from India. She was called a “cow piss drinker”, “cow dung” and was mocked at for being open about her Hindu heritage. This video has however been deleted now following another round of bullying.

However, some of them so called ‘liberals’ derived joy from her breakdown video. A journalist with The News Minute tweeted

Here are some of the other instances of cyber-bullying encountered by Kamya.

In light of this, Mohammad Zubair, the Tablighi apologist belonging to AltNews, the propaganda website functioning under the veil of a ‘fact-checking’ website, went on to harass the Hindu woman by sharing screenshots of her crying.

He had gone on a replying rampage to several of the tweets with this image. However, he has now deleted all of these tweets.

In another case, the National Commission for Protection of Child Right has taken cognizance of online threats and repeated incident of stalking of a minor girl by Mohammed Zubair.  His followers had shared indecent comments on the minor girl’s pictures. The Commission has asked the Delhi police to take action.
