Dravidian Model: Hindi Opposing DMK Govt To Give German Language Training To Nurses, DMK Spokie Says Learning German Will Help Them Get Jobs In BMW, Mercedes, Porsche

The DMK government has been known for its Hindi opposition since time immemorial. Despite their hate for Hindi, which they claim to be a “foreign” language, they are happy to use English as a medium of conversation.

Leaving this aside, the Naan Mudhalvan Finishing School initiative of the DMK government under the Tamil Nadu Apex Skill Development Centre for Healthcare has introduced a free German language training programme for nursing professionals. According to an official release, this programme aims to address the skill shortage in the German healthcare sector, which faces a gap of 1.7 million professionals, including 35,000 nursing vacancies each year, driven by rising healthcare demands. The eight-month course, offered at no cost for nurses, will train students to achieve B2-level proficiency in the German language.

While this may be commendable, their spokesperson, Salem Dharanidharan, seemed to be confused. The ad targets nurses, stating that Germany annually requires 35,000 nurses with at least a graduate degree in nursing. Dharanidharan, however, kept on harping that these nurses would be placed in top German automobile companies like BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, etc. He wrote, #DravidianModel If we learn German we get jobs in Germany and our students can work in companies such as bmw, Mercedes or Porsche, . With hindi where can they work? Ur guess

He had to take a dig at Hindi language proficiency no matter what.

Despite multiple people pointing out that the advertisement was for nurses, he responded to people ignorantly. Responding to one netizen, he wrote, What are you blabbering, people learn German they can work in Germany companies you learn Hindi and do what? Why is it difficult for dafaq’s like you finding it difficult to understand

He even went on to justify that nurse’s salaries in Germany were much higher than in Hindi-speaking states. Was it because they had to “care” for automobiles, one wonders. He wrote, “Average nursing salary in Germany in 45 lakhs per annum. In Hindi speaking states 1.5 lakhs – 30 times lesser plus other disadvantages”

It is noteworthy that income taxes can be as high as 45% in Germany. Other expenses include a water bill, which costs €2.30 (approximately 226 INR) for the first 1,000 liters, with a maximum of 5,000 liters per month. After that, the charge increases to €4 per 100 liters. Additionally, a 1GB data pack is priced at €4.99 (around 410 INR), and gas rates have risen by 300%.

Salem Dharanidharan boasts of being the State Deputy Secretary of the DMK IT Wing and the party spokesperson. He also has posted that he has a degree from NIT, SciencesPO, Paris and that he is an Oxford University alumnus. Unfortunately, his intelligence in writing and promoting this initiative does not match his credentials. Critics wonder if it is a requirement to be a part of the ruling party.
