But when the students of A.Poochipatti near Usilampatti, Madurai district, where individuals prevented students from attending school, claiming it was a holiday, the students vehemently protested, demanding proof of the claim that they should stay home.
In the video, the students expressed a strong desire to attend school. However, some individuals obstructed them and insisted they go home. One person claimed, “We are fighting for you to study for free.” In response, the students questioned, “Who told us we need to pay fees now?” The group asserted, “The government says you have to pay… There’s a GO stating fees are required.” The students remained skeptical and asked for evidence. One of them challenged, “Where’s the proof?” The reply came, “Have you seen the proof? Ask your teacher.” One student retorted, “Our teacher informed us about everything. We keep up with the news daily. No such announcement was made. Why should we skip school today?” They were determined to attend despite the confrontation.
