ISI agent in Ukraine gets caught after sexual misconduct

Waqar Ahmad, an ISI undercover agent working for the Pakistani spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) has been reprimanded by the Ukrainian government after his cover was blown during an act of sexual misconduct. Waqar was a BS-2 officer at the country’s embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Ukraine’s foreign ministry in a statement said that “Waqar Ahmad, a BS-18 officer of the Foreign Service of Pakistan was charged with gross misconduct, conduct unbecoming of an officer and gentleman, conduct prejudicial to good order and service discipline, sexual harassment of local-based cleaner/messenger, abuse of authority, creating hostile environment and unlawful termination of a local based employee while posted as First Secretary in the Embassy of Pakistan, Kyiv.”

He has been removed from service with immediate effect and an investigation is underway.
