The news of DMDK joining the DMK-led alliance in Tamil Nadu has left citizens of the state baffled – mainly because of the fact that its founder Vijayakanth had never allied with the DMK since its formation two decades ago.
Several video clippings of how the DMK had derogated Vijayakanth circulated on social media platforms.
Some of them also shared video clippings of foul-mouthed abusive DMK speaker Sivaji Krishnamurthy – clippings where he has abused the present DMDK chief Premallatha Vijayakant.
In one clipping from 2019, he is seen saying, “There is one more ‘baj*ri mun**i’ (uncouth bald/tonsured woman), that Premalatha Vijayakanth. Hey you woman! Let our Annan Thalapathy become the Chief Minister of this state, we will not only investigate Jayalalithaa’s death, but we will also find out what happened to Vijayakanth. Woman, you must be thrown inside, crushed, squeeze the juice, I tell you honestly, hey woman, we will investigate everything and the place where they will live permanently is Puzhal jail.”
