16 lakh laddoos to be given to foreign embassies on the occassion of Ram Mandir Bhumi Pujan

The Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has made special preparations to distribute 16 lakh Bikaneri laddoos to all the foreign embassies on the occasion of Ram Mandir’s ‘Bhumi Pujan’ ceremony on August 5. This is to keep up with the Indian tradition of distributing sweets on special occasions. These laddoos are to be distributed four in each packet. On behalf of the trust, Bikaneri laddus will be distributed in all the embassies of the country including Ramnagar.

Residents of the city have been asked to light up earthen lamps at their homes on the eve of the foundation stone laying ceremony. To make the celebration merrier, the state’s tourism department is equally participating in the preparations. The roads have been decorated with murals from the Ramayan, and the event is to take place with strict social distancing norms in force.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform Bhoomi Poojan in Ayodhya for the construction of Ram Mandir in Ram Janmaboomi. This will be telecasted on Doordarshan. Priests all over the country are to participate in 108 Hanuman Chalisa recitations in the temples.
