140 jihadis waiting to cross LoC and enter J&K ahead of Indian Independence Day

As Pakistan went into a verbal diatribe on the second anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370 and 35a, credible reports are emerging that around 140 Islamic terrorists are waiting at launch pads to infiltrate into Jammu and Kashmir.

However, it will not be an easy task as the anti-terror infrastructure across the Line of Control (LoC) remains in place even though India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire in February.

Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire agreement as it was in desperate need to get out of the “grey list” of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), however, peace at the LoC did not mean Islamabad had dismantled the terror infrastructure which it calls its strategic asset.

The Indian Army which is keeping constant vigil has noticed the continued presence of around 140 terrorists at the launch pads across the LoC, waiting to infiltrate into Jammu and Kashmir, but the robust counter-infiltration grid has made it very difficult to make such attempts.

“They tried in the past but had to return after alert Jawans foiled all their nefarious designs,” the official said. The terror organisation to which the 140 terrorists belong has not been revealed.

India has also discovered that Pakistan is using the ceasefire window to strengthen its infrastructure along the LoC that was damaged in cross-border shelling.

Also, after the abrogation of the special status two years ago, the number of foreign terrorists have suddenly disappeared who are either hiding in densely populated areas or mountainous heights having natural caves.
