In August 2025, police arrested an Indian individual for espionage. This was the fourth on such lines within a short period of time.

Let us take a look at the arrests and crackdown on spies in India over the past few months, especially in the backdrop of April 22 Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor.

#1 Jaisalmer Arrest Over Pakistan Links

On 20 August 2025, Rajasthan Police detained a 25-year-old man in Jaisalmer after discovering his regular communication with multiple Pakistani phone numbers. Authorities grew suspicious when he was caught speaking to these contacts, leading to his arrest. A preliminary investigation of his mobile device revealed several saved numbers linked to Pakistan. Officials suspect he was being prepared for possible recruitment by terror handlers. His detention highlights ongoing concerns over cross-border communication channels used for radicalization.

#2 ISI Spy Arrested in Rajasthan Amid Indo-Pak Tensions

Following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26, Indian agencies intensified operations against suspected ISI collaborators. On 1 May 2025, Rajasthan Intelligence arrested Pathan Khan of Jaisalmer for allegedly spying for Pakistan since 2013. Officials said Khan, initially recruited during a Pakistan trip, passed sensitive BSF-related information using fake SIMs and social media, and was paid through covert channels. Booked under the Official Secrets Act, he is accused of filming border zones. Meanwhile, villagers near the Rajasthan border expressed support for the Army, as Pakistan escalated military drills and ceasefire violations, further straining bilateral tensions.

#3 Rajasthan Govt Staffer Held for Espionage

In May 2025, NDTV reported that 49-year-old Rajasthan government employee Shakur Khan, detained in Jaisalmer on suspicion of spying for Pakistan, earlier worked as personal assistant to former Congress minister Shale Mohammad. Both hail from nearby villages, and Khan reportedly frequented visits to Mohammad’s late father, Ghazi Fakir. Officials said Khan had traveled to Pakistan at least seven times and maintained multiple bank accounts. His phone contained deleted data now under scrutiny. Authorities stressed it was premature to link Mohammad to the case. Since Operation Sindoor, seven individuals, including Khan, have been picked up in Jaisalmer for suspicious border activities.

#4 DRDO Guest House Manager Arrested in Jaisalmer for Spying for Pakistan

In August 2025, Rajasthan Police CID (Security) arrested Mahendra Prasad, 32, manager of the DRDO Guest House at Chandan Field Firing Range in Jaisalmer, on charges of espionage. Prasad, a native of Almora, Uttarakhand, was allegedly in contact with a Pakistani intelligence handler via social media and leaked details about DRDO scientists and Army officers visiting the site for weapon trials. His mobile analysis confirmed the security breach. Arrested after joint interrogation, Prasad is accused of passing sensitive defence information. Authorities are probing possible wider links, stressing vigilance amid heightened surveillance ahead of Independence Day celebrations.

#5 UP Man Held for Spying, Links to Pakistan’s ISI

Uttar Pradesh ATS has arrested a man named Shazad on charges of espionage for Pakistan’s ISI. Officials said he was under surveillance after intelligence inputs confirmed repeated travel to Pakistan, where he engaged in illegal cross-border trade used as a front for spying. Investigations revealed that Shazad maintained close ties with ISI operatives, supplied them confidential security information, and transferred funds to their agents in India. He also allegedly facilitated the movement of men from Rampur and nearby areas to Pakistan for recruitment, and provided Indian SIM cards to ISI handlers for covert operations.

12 Arrested in Pakistan-Linked Spy Network Across North India

At least 12 people, including a YouTuber, were arrested from Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh on espionage charges over the past two weeks. Police say investigations point to a Pakistan-linked spy network active in north India. The arrests, which followed the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor, include six from Punjab, five from Haryana, and one from Uttar Pradesh. Officials confirmed that those arrested were allegedly passing sensitive information to Pakistani Intelligence Operatives (PIOs).

#6 Punjab: Falaksher and Suraj Masih

On 4 May 2025, Punjab Police arrested Falaksher Masih and Suraj Masih, both residents of Ajnala in Amritsar, for allegedly leaking sensitive information to Pakistan’s ISI. The duo were accused of sharing photographs of Army cantonment areas, BSF camps, and air bases with their handlers across the border. Police said the two were involved in collecting and transmitting crucial military details, including troop movements.

#7 Punjab: Guzala and Yameen Mohamad

On 11 May 2025, Punjab Police detained 31-year-old Guzala and Yameen Mohamad from Malerkotla. Investigators revealed that Guzala had been in direct touch with a Pakistani officer, Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish, posted at the High Commission in New Delhi. She allegedly confessed to passing on confidential details about Indian Army activities in exchange for money, receiving ₹30,000 via UPI. Yameen was accused of assisting her in espionage-related activities.

#8 Punjab: Sukhpreet Singh and Karanbir Singh

Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav announced on 19 May 2025 the arrest of Sukhpreet Singh and Karanbir Singh, both from Gurdaspur district. The duo were found leaking sensitive military information, including troop movements during Operation Sindoor, to ISI handlers. Police recovered three mobile phones and eight live cartridges of 0.30 bore ammunition from their possession. Authorities also linked the men to prior drug smuggling operations, which reportedly brought them into contact with ISI agents.

#9 Haryana: Nauman Ilahi

On 15 May 2025, Haryana Police arrested 24-year-old Nauman Ilahi from Panipat district for supplying sensitive information to Pakistan. Originally from Kairana, Uttar Pradesh, Ilahi worked as a factory security guard and was living with his sister and brother-in-law in Panipat. He was reportedly in contact with an ISI handler in Pakistan and had been sharing details through digital platforms.

#10 Haryana: Devender Singh

On 16 May 2025, Haryana Police arrested Devender Singh, a 25-year-old postgraduate student from Kaithal district. Singh, pursuing a master’s degree in political science, had allegedly established contact with Pakistani operatives during a pilgrimage to Pakistan in November 2024. He admitted to sending photographs of the Patiala cantonment from outside the premises. Police said Singh had uploaded photos with weapons on social media, raising suspicions about his links to PIOs.

#11 Haryana: Jyoti Malhotra (YouTuber)

On 16 May 2025, Hisar-based YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra was arrested for passing information to Pakistani operatives. Malhotra, who runs the channel Travel with JO with 3.77 lakh YouTube subscribers, was allegedly in touch with Pakistani staffer Danish from the High Commission. She had visited Pakistan multiple times, with her videos featuring titles such as “Indian Girl in Pakistan” and “Exploring Lahore.” Police said she was being “developed as an asset” during the India-Pakistan conflict following Operation Sindoor.

#12 Haryana: Armaan

On 17 May 2025, police in Haryana’s Nuh district arrested Armaan, 26, for allegedly spying for Pakistan. He was accused of sharing information related to Indian Army activities with PIOs via WhatsApp and social media platforms. Police said he had been providing information for a long period. Armaan was remanded in police custody for six days.

#13 Haryana: Mohammad Tarif

On 19 May 2025, Nuh Police, along with a central agency, arrested local quack Mohammad Tarif from Kangarka village. Tarif allegedly leaked intelligence on Indian military activities to Pakistan. He confessed to having supplied a SIM card to a Pakistani High Commission employee and had even traveled to Pakistan. A case was registered against him and two Pakistani nationals under the Official Secrets Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

#14 Uttar Pradesh: Shahzad (Rampur)

On 18 May 2025, Uttar Pradesh’s Special Task Force arrested Shahzad from Rampur. He was accused of smuggling goods such as clothes, spices, and cosmetics across the border while passing sensitive security information to his ISI handlers. Shahzad had reportedly traveled to Pakistan multiple times. The STF alleged that his smuggling network served as a cover for espionage.

#15 Mohammad Murtaza Ali Arrested in Jalandhar for ISI Espionage

Punjab Police arrested Mohammad Murtaza Ali in Jalandhar on charges of spying for Pakistan’s intelligence agency, ISI. According to officials, Ali had allegedly developed a mobile application that he used to conduct espionage activities. Police seized four mobile phones and three SIM cards from his possession during the operation. Investigators believe the devices were used to pass sensitive information to his handlers.

#16 CRPF Insider: Moti Ram Jat

Moti Ram Jat, a CRPF employee, was arrested in Delhi by the NIA after being in contact with Pakistani intelligence officers since 2023. Despite being a low-ranking officer, Jat had access to sensitive operational details and allegedly passed classified information in exchange for money. His social media activity triggered internal alerts, leading to his dismissal. He remains in NIA custody, with investigations ongoing to determine the full extent of information shared with Pakistan.

#17 Honeytrap at the Dockyard: Engineer Ravindra Verma

Ravindra Verma, a 27-year-old mechanical engineer in Mumbai, was arrested by the ATS for sharing detailed naval sketches and operational information from the South Mumbai Naval Dockyard. Verma was lured into a honeytrap via Facebook profiles controlled by Pakistani agents. He reportedly shared diagrams, ship names, docking schedules, and audio notes in exchange for money. Investigations revealed he had been communicating with operatives since November 2024 and knowingly compromised national security despite restrictions on phones at the dockyard.

#18 Health Worker: Sahdev Singh Gohil

Sahdev Singh Gohil, a 28-year-old health worker from Kachchh, Gujarat, was detained for transmitting sensitive information about IAF and BSF installations to a Pakistani operative using a WhatsApp account under the alias Aditi Bharadwaj. Gohil also procured a new SIM card registered in his name to facilitate data transfers. He reportedly received Rs 40,000 for sharing classified images and videos. ATS investigations confirmed the misuse of digital channels to transmit information about newly constructed military infrastructure near the border.

#19 Digital Front: Kasim

Kasim, 34, from Deeg, Rajasthan, was arrested for supplying Indian SIM cards to Pakistani intelligence operatives. He had traveled to Pakistan twice between August 2024 and March 2025, assisting ISI agents in contacting Indians and soliciting military intelligence. Following nationwide arrests post-Pahalgam, Kasim deleted sensitive data, but forensic analysis of his devices and call records is ongoing to map his network.

#20 Unnamed Facebook/WhatsApp Asset

An individual in Thane, Mumbai, was arrested for sharing sensitive information with Pakistani operatives via social media between November 2024 and March 2025. Authorities are investigating the extent of data leaked and connections with broader espionage networks.

#21 Punjab Duo Arrested for Leaking Army Secrets

On 4 May 2025, Punjab Police arrested Palak Sher Masih and Suraj Masih for allegedly sharing sensitive information and photographs of Army Cantonments and Air Bases in Amritsar with Pakistani intelligence operatives. Rural Amritsar SSP Maninder Singh confirmed that the duo had been in contact with ISI agents and had leaked crucial data about strategic installations. Authorities recovered a significant amount of information from them. Singh also revealed that another accomplice, Harpreet, who facilitated their connection with the ISI, is in Amritsar Jail. Police plan to produce him on a warrant for further investigation.

Security agencies in Rajasthan have detained a 30-year-old man on suspicion of espionage for Pakistan, marking the fourth such arrest in Jaisalmer district this year.

The accused, identified as Jivan Khan, a resident of Sankada area, was intercepted on Tuesday near the Army station in Jaisalmer. According to officials, Khan had earlier worked at a restaurant inside the military zone and was attempting to regain entry when he was stopped at the gate. Military Intelligence personnel checked his mobile phone, which showed suspicious activity, including multiple Pakistani contacts. He was later handed over to Kotwali police.

Sources said Khan was under surveillance for some time and was caught while speaking to a Pakistani number. During questioning, he admitted to having relatives in Pakistan. He is expected to be produced before the Joint Interrogation Centre, where several security agencies will question him further.

Khan’s arrest comes days after the detention of DRDO guest house manager Mahendra Prasad on 13 August 2025. Prasad, a resident of Almora in Uttarakhand, was accused of passing sensitive details about the movement of DRDO scientists and Army officers at the Chandan Field Firing Range. Investigators alleged that he had been in touch with a Pakistani handler operating under the alias “Colonel AK Singh.”

This year has seen a series of espionage cases in Rajasthan’s border districts. On 26 March 2025, Pathan Khan from Karam Ki Dhani near Chandan Field Firing Range was arrested under the Official Secrets Act. On 28 May 2025, Shakoor Khan, a government employee and personal assistant to former Congress minister Saleh Mohammad, was detained and later formally arrested on 3 June 2025.

Officials said that since Operation Sindoor, surveillance and counter-intelligence measures in Rajasthan’s border areas have been intensified, with agencies keeping close watch on individuals suspected of maintaining links with Pakistan.

As the investigation into YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra’s alleged espionage for Pakistan proceeds, her fresh links with Bangladesh seem to have emerged, thereby bringing her under greater suspicion and scrutiny of the agencies.

The YouTuber has been accused of spying for Pakistan and also charged with sharing secret and strategic information with the enemy nation. She is said to be in touch with multiple Pakistani agents, including some of the operatives of ISI, Pakistan’s intelligence agency. While Haryana Police probes the alleged collusion of the YouTuber with the agents in pushing a Pakistani narrative and using her social media presence to influence gullible locals here, the officials stumbled upon a crucial piece of information, which shows that the YouTuber was planning a visit to Bangladesh soon.

It has access to Jyoti’s visa form application, which shows that the next destination on her itinerary was Bangladesh. An undated Bangladesh visa application form shows her name inscribed on the form, in which she filled up her ‘temporary address’ as the one in Uttara, Dhaka. The visa application form is, though undated, the probe team believes that her visit was intended to align and position with Bangladeshi operatives in the garb of the video shoot.

The ‘spy’ video blogger was also grilled by National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Intelligence Bureau (IB) officials on Tuesday over alleged links with Pakistani Intelligence Operatives (PIO). Officials with knowledge of the investigation disclosed that her recent foreign trips to Pakistan, China and other nations are being closely examined. Many reports said that the Haryana YouTuber remained remorseless during the interrogation and insisted that she was being targeted for her free speech.

She has been accused of sharing sensitive military information with Pakistani intelligence operatives, raising concerns about security breaches, particularly in the backdrop of ghastly Pahalgam attacks. Her proposed visit to Bangladesh, after the regime change there, raises fresh security concerns.

In a shocking turn of events, travel blogger and YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra was arrested by the Civil Lines police in Hisar on 17 May 2025, facing accusations of espionage for Pakistan. She is alleged to have maintained regular communication with Pakistani intelligence agents, using platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, and Snapchat to share sensitive information.

Jyoti, who runs the YouTube channel Desi-Indo-Joe, had traveled to several countries, including Pakistan, as part of her activities. It is claimed that she was instructed by her handlers to present Pakistan in a positive light through her social media posts. During her questioning, Jyoti stated that she was chosen to join a delegation to Pakistan in 2023. According to the FIR, during her trip, she met a man named Ahsan-ur-Rahim, also known as Danish, and stayed in touch with him after returning to India through various messaging apps. On a subsequent visit to Pakistan, recommended by Ahsan, she met another individual, Ali Ahsan, who introduced her to members of Pakistan’s intelligence and security agencies.

It was during this time that Jyoti allegedly began passing along sensitive information to her Pakistani contacts. She confessed to saving their numbers under false names, a tactic investigators believe was designed to hide her connections with Pakistani Intelligence Operatives (PIOs). Officials have stated that her ongoing communication with these operatives is a violation of the Official Secrets Act, and poses a serious threat to national security.

Recently, Indian Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar while speaking at the launch of the Marathi version of his book ‘The India Way’ said that Lord Hanuman and Lord Krishna were two of the world’s greatest diplomats.

“Hanumanji, he had gone ahead of the mission, he had contacted Goddess Sita, burnt Lanka…he was a multi-purpose diplomat,” Jaishankar said.

Since ancient times a prosperous and strong nation is only possible when it has able and competent ministers, diplomats and spies. Today, when Bharat aims to become Vishvaguru and Vishvashakti it should learn lessons from its ancient history and one of the most fascinating characters Shri Ramdoota Hanuman.

Early Life And Childhood

Son of Anjana and Kesari Hanuman is also known as Pavanputra as Vayudeva was his protector. His guru was Suryanarayana from whom he learnt all Vedakosha, Dhanurveda, Gandharva Vidya, Neeti, Nyaya, Prabandhan and politics.

Minister In Vanarraja Sugriva’s Court

After completing his studies from Suryanarayana Hanumanji joined Kishkindha King Sugriva’s court as minister. When King Sugriva was dethroned by Vaali he moved to Rishyamuka Hill Hanumanji was loyal to the king in difficult times and protected him from attacks by mighty Vaali.

From this we learn that it is important for a King to have ministers who are loyal esp. in testing times.

When Sugriva sent Hanumanji to enquire about Shri Ram and Lakshaman’s purpose of visit to Rishyamuka hill he met him in disguise of Bhikshuka, a gave a glimpse of his spying abilities. In a very calm, composed and clever manner he initiated talks with Shri Ram and Lakshaman and praised them. This way he showed his ability to gauge people’s minds. After carefully reading the mind of both Shri Ram and Lakshaman he revealed his true identity and purpose to visit. On hearing Hanumanji Shri Ram first praised him and then told him about the reason to come to Rishyamuka hill. Now Hanumanji showed his diplomatic acumen and realized that about a potential alliance between King Sugriva and Shri Ram. So he took them to Sugriva’s cave at Rishyamuka hill where they both became friends and allies.

From the above we learnt that a diplomat must be sharp enough to read the situation and courageous to take decisions accordingly. It is also not necessary that both allies should have same goals but what matters is they help each other in accomplishing their respective goals, as was the case with Shri Ram and Sugriva.

Shlokas from Srimadvalmiki Ramayana Kishkindha Kand in which Shri Ram praised Lord Hanuman

सचिवोऽयं कपीन्द्रस्य सुग्रीवस्य महात्मनः।

तमेव काङ्क्षमाणस्य ममान्तिकमुपागतः4.3.26।।

Here is minister to Sugriva, the great chief of monkeys whom I wish to see.

तमभ्यभाष सौमित्रे सुग्रीवसचिवं कपिम्।

वाक्यज्ञं मधुरैर्वाक्यैस्स्नेहयुक्तमरिन्दम।।4.3.27।।

O Saumitri, conqueror of enemies this monkey, Sugriva’s minister, is skilled in friendly communication. Reply to him in words gentle and sweet.

नानृग्वेदविनीतस्य नायजुर्वेद्धारिणः।

नासामवेदविदुषश्शक्यमेवं विभाषितुम्4.3.28।।

‘Unless well versed in Rigveda, Yajurveda and Samaveda, for sure, it is not possible for anyone to articulate so well.

नूनं व्याकरणं कृत्स्नमनेन बहुधा श्रुतम्।

बहु व्याहरताऽनेन न किञ्चिदपशब्दितम्4.3.29।।

‘Surely, he seems to have studied well the whole of grammar, for there is not a single mispronunciation in his entire speech.

न मुखे नेत्रयोर्वापि ललाटे च भ्रुवोस्तथा।

अन्येष्वपि च गात्रेषु दोषस्संविदितः क्वचित्4.3.30।।

No fault can be found in his face, eyes, forehead, between the eyebrows or any other part of his body (during his expression).

अविस्तरमसन्दिग्धमविलम्बितमद्रुतम्।

उरस्थं कण्ठगं वाक्यं वर्तते मध्यमे स्वरे4.3.31।।

His sentences are not too elaborate, not ambiguous, not dragging, not fast, raised in the chest or throat, in a medium tone.

संस्कारक्रमसम्पन्नामद्रुतामविलम्बिताम्।

उच्चारयति कल्याणीं वाचं हृदयहारिणीम्4.3.32।।

‘His words are auspicious. They are refined. Neither fast nor slow, his utterances captivate the heart.

अनया चित्रया वाचा त्रिस्थानव्यञ्जनस्थया।

कस्य नाराध्यते चित्तमुद्यतासेररेरपि4.3.33।।

‘His colourful words flow from all the three sources: the bottom of his bosom, his throat and his head. Whose mind will not adore them even if one happens to be an enemy holding a sword?

एवं विधो यस्य दूतो न भवेत्पार्थिवस्य तु।

सिद्ध्यन्ति हि कथं तस्य कार्याणां गतियोऽनघ4.3.34।।

‘O sinless one, how can a king, whoever he be, not accomplish his goal in the past with such an ambassador?

एवं गुणगणैर्युक्ता यस्य स्युः कार्यसाधकाः।

तस्य सिध्यन्ति सर्वाऽर्था दूतवाक्यप्रचोदिताः4.3.35।।

Whoever has such great taskmasters of great qualities as their envoys, can have all their goals accomplished, driven by their diplomatic skills.

Hanuman As Lord Ram’s Ambassador In Lanka

King Sugriva and Shri Ram, knowing the all-round abilities and skills of Hanumanji, sent him to Dakshina Disha (Southern direction) to Lanka and search for Sitaji. Hanumanji’s journey to Lanka gives lessons on test, temptation and threats a diplomat should be prepared to face.

Hanumanji was tested by Surasa and got a boon from her. Temptation and favours were brought by Mainaka which he respectfully refused to accept and continued his journey. The demon queen Singhika tried to kill him but he skillfully used his wisdom and might to kill her. Here he taught is that no matter how good a temptation is a diplomat should never fall for it but remain focused on his goals.

After completing his journey Hanumanji reached Lanka and showed his spy skills once again. He changed his swarup and with heart full of Sattvaguna entered Lanka after punishing Lankini. Here he gave lesson that a diplomat should always remain low-profile on foreign land with mind (मन) full of peace, patience and positivity.

In Lanka he minutely observed everything the architecture, security arrangements, lifestyle and behaviour of the people. Next he entered Ashoka Vatika where Sitaji was in the captivity of King Ravana. In Ashoka Vatika he hid on a tree and observed Sitaji and other activities of the Vatika. After closely watching them, Hanumanji wondered in which language he should initiate dialogue with Sitaji as if things go wrong and she gets scared it would create problems.

Here we learn that a diplomat or spy should be very cautious while communicating with people on foreign lands especially those who can help in your goals to protect and further the interest of your nation. One should be careful about their safety and security.

After meeting Sitaji and giving her message of Shri Ram, Hanumanji decided to check the war strategies and preparedness of Ravana. For this he destroyed major portion of Ashoka Vatika and killed many soldiers and generals of Ravana. He got caught by Meghnad so that he could meet Ravana and give him the message of Shri Ram and Sugriva to free Sitaji or be ready for war. It was also a change to gauge the mental state, abilities and knowledge of Ravana and his ministers.

Here we also got to learn that Diplomatic Immunity is not a new concept but ancient Bhartiya practice according to Shastras. Ravana wanted to punish Hanumanji by awarding death penalty but Vibhishana minister and younger brother of Ravana stopped him from doing so citing violation of Shastras and suggested that Hanumanji be given another type of punishment.

Hanumanji used this opportunity and burnt Lanka thereby damaging their assets. He returned to Rishyamuka hill with his group, told Sugriva and Shri Ram about the success of his mission of finding Sitaji and destroying Lanka in big way. Here we learn that a government should know the art of using force in calculated manner to push back its enemies and securing nation’s interest.

In the end I just want to say that more than outside we should look at our own history and Vedakosha for lessons and solutions to our problems and challenges. Bharat cannot become Vishvaguru and Vishvashakti by ignoring its own roots.

Here I am putting a Sanskrit Shloka praising Shri Hanumanji.

मनोजवं मारुततुल्यवेगं जितेन्द्रियं बुद्धिमतां वरिष्ठम्।

वातात्मजं वानरयूथमुख्यं श्रीरामदूतं शिरसा नमामि।।

Who is Swift as Mind and Fast as Wind, Who is the Master of the Senses and Honoured for His Excellent Intelligence, Learning and Wisdom, Who is Son of the Wind God and Chief among the Monkeys, To that Messenger of Sri Rama, I take Refuge.

A combined operation by Military Intelligence (MI) and Bengaluru city police resulted in the arrest of two men suspected of targeting Indian army telephone exchanges and soldiers for the purpose of gathering classified information.

The accused, Ibrahim M Pullatti, 36, a Kerala native, and V Gautam, 27, from Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, were residing in Bengaluru’s BTM Layout and used 30 electronic devices with 32 sim cards each to establish an illegal exchange at each of the six locations in BTM Layout.

They illegally converted international phone calls into local, and indulged in cheating and other activities, affecting the country’s security. Most of the calls made were to Dubai, police said.

The entire racket was busted by the Army’s Southern Command’s Military Intelligence Department, which intercepted a call received at an Army base in eastern India a few weeks ago. During the call, a Pakistani spy masquerading as a senior official inquired for general details.

Thirty-two SIM box devices, which can use 960 SIM cards at a time, were seized from them.

Further investigation by the Military Intelligence Unit revealed that the duo set up similar telephone exchanges in other parts of Bengaluru and made calls to several military installations in the past, including the Movement Control Office (MCO) and the Principal Comptroller of Defence Accounts (PCDA).
