In an interview clipping that has gone viral, Jersey City mayoral candidate Mussab Ali is seen praising New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, drawing a direct comparison to former President Barack Obama and suggesting a political parallel with London Mayor Sadiq Khan.

Speaking on Mamdani’s electoral prospects, Ali stated, “Based on what the Mamdani team has done thus far, I think they are in good shape going into November. I think he is going to be the first Muslim mayor of the largest city in America.”

The interviewer expanded the comparison, noting, “I think you can say the two largest cities in the hemisphere, London and New York. London has Sadiq Khan who is of a Pakistani Muslim background and Mamdani is an East African, originally Indian.”

In his response, Ali elaborated on the Obama analogy. “You know Republicans, if you think about what they used to say about Obama right, they are like Obama is not born in America, he was born in Africa, Obama’s a socialist, a Muslim,” Ali said. “Literally Mamdani is a Muslim socialist who was born in Africa and is now actually the mayor of New York city. I think it is incredible like what they thought about Obama, this man he actually is.”

The conversation seems to be indicating that Islamists are rejoicing that they have taken London with a Pakistani Muslim mayor and now it’s New York’s turn.

It is also noteworthy to look at Ali’s previous political actions as Jersey City’s School Board President, he allegedly forced through Eid holidays, halal lunches, and Islamic dress code accommodations in public schools.

From glorifying Hamas and denigrating India to pushing anti-Israel resolutions, New York legislator Zohran Mamdani embodies the dangerous nexus of left-wing extremism and Islamist propaganda—heavily bankrolled by global “philanthropic” networks.

The son of acclaimed filmmaker Mira Nair and Ugandan academic Mahmood Mamdani, Zohran has long leveraged his privileged background to push divisive identity politics under the garb of “solidarity.” His record in the New York State Assembly and beyond exposes a pattern—relentless attacks on India, Hindus, and Israel, echoing talking points crafted by global left-Islamist lobbies.

Mamdani has received significant backing from advocacy groups linked to Islamist organizations and pro-Hamas outfits.

A groundbreaking Fox News investigation by Asra Nomani, in collaboration with the Daniel Pearl Project, has shed light on the sprawling coalition and funding behind Zohran Mamdani’s campaign to become New York City’s next mayor.

Groups such as ICNA, prohibited in India and Russia for their ties to terrorist organizations, and CAIR, previously named in terrorism financing investigations, have been integral parts of the campaign’s network. Donations from the Unity & Justice Fund and coordinated actions by members of Jamaat-e-Islami and other global Muslim entities underscore the campaign’s far-reaching terror connections.

The Council on American‑Islamic Relations (CAIR) and its super-PAC arm Unity & Justice Fund are reported to have funneled substantial funds into a PAC supporting Mamdani’s campaign. One report cites a $25,000 gift on May 30 and a further $75,000 on June 16, 2025. Another source places the figure at about $100,000 in total. In addition, the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights Action (USCPR Action) publicly endorsed his campaign in September 2025 — their first-ever candidate endorsement.

He was seen with an Imam, who has historical ties as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

In 2023, the New York State Assembly passed a controversial bill aimed at stopping tax-exempt donations from state-registered charities that funded Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank – activities widely regarded as violations of international law.

The legislation, titled “Not on Our Dime!: Ending New York Funding of Israeli Settler Violence Act,” was introduced by the then-Assembly member Zohran Mamdani in May 2023. It sought to prohibit not-for-profit corporations registered in New York from using charitable funds to support organisations linked to Israeli settlement expansion or violence against Palestinians in the occupied territories.

Mahmood Mamdani, a professor at Columbia University and father of New York mayoral candidate and Islamist terror supporter Zohran Mamdani, argued for a controversial reframing of suicide bombers, stating they should be seen as soldiers rather than barbarians in the aftermath of the 9/11 Twin Tower terror attack. Mamdani even appeared to evade a question about Sharia law during a public interaction.

The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), the organization backing mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani, is facing a severe public condemnation just as the NYC mayoral polls come closer and the information that a radical faction within its ranks openly praised and launched a campaign to free Elias Rodriguez, the man accused of murdering two Israeli embassy staffers in a terror attack in Washington, D.C.

Barack Obama’s recent interview with Christine Amanpour has received a lot of flak from Indians across the world. In one part of the interview which was shared by the anchor on Twitter, we see Obama has some “advice” for his friend Prime Minister Narendra Modi about democracy and minorities.

“The protection of Muslim minorities in a majority Hindu India … “Part of my argument would be that if you do not protect the rights of ethnic minorities in India, then there is a strong possibility India at some point starts pulling apart. And we’ve seen what happens when you start getting those kinds of large internal conflicts,” he said.

Well, Mr. Obama, thanks but no thanks. And his words hinting at the possibility of India breaking up if the country did not do more for its minorities – what right does a former President of a first-world country have to comment on a country much more populous than his, a country that is the largest democracy in the world, a country that has had 2 women Presidents and one woman PM.

In the interview, Obama keeps mentioning a “Hindu India” and a “Muslim India”. What does he mean by that? By mentioning pulling apart, does he mean that India will get balkanized like Yugoslavia? Is he even listening to himself? It sounds like Obama wants to pit the Muslim India against a Hindu India. And it is anybody’s guess which side Obama will take. Even after these many years, the white man’s divide and rule mindset has not gone. Maybe his lobbyist friends and colleagues have been feeding him misinformation all along, but no Sir, there is only one India. His words only seem like a grand attempt to manipulate and/or gaslight the already apologetic Hindus to have their country Islamized. 

Mr. Obama, India underwent a painful partition 75+ years ago and today, the citizens will not allow for something so traumatic, heinous, and murderous to happen ever again. 

Obama’s Claim To Fame?

Barack Obama’s claim to fame was just that he was Black, his ethnicity alone played a major role in getting him elected. Well, he was/is a great speaker, an orator. Talks smooth like a butter.

What else did he achieve, oh he apparently got Osama bin Laden killed. Awesome!

But readers, you do remember that America under his presidency meddled with the affairs of Libya, leading to the assassination of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011 and made a mess out of that country in the name of “saving democracy”.

Obama’s Presidential Years 

Obama became POTUS in 2008. Yes, he inherited the Iraq and Afghanistan situation from the previous Bush regime, no doubt about that. He proclaimed he wanted to make the situation peaceful. Well, very good to hear. But what exactly happened? In 2009, within a year of his Presidency, he received the Nobel Peace Prize for his “extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples”. Amazing.

Did you know in 2016 alone, during his second term, the US dropped 79% of the total bombs dropped in attacks on Syria and Iraq, apart from raining down bullets on people in Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, and Pakistan? That’s seven majority-Muslim countries.

Obama speaks about minorities in India, especially Muslims, but he completely forgot this fact when he bombed all those Muslim countries. Slow claps.

All through the 8 years of his presidency, he kept saying that war must be ended but he never did. We wonder who gave the US the right to meddle in the affairs of any other country, however big or small they may be.

While Prime Minister Modi believes in the fact that this is not an era of war but one of dialogue and diplomacy, Obama justified that “there could be instances when war is “morally justified.” in his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech.  

During his 2008 campaign, Obama presented himself as an anti-war candidate which won the hearts of the people, he was an excellent orator and that did the trick. Add to this the fact that he was running to be the first Black President in history. But as his presidency unfolded, many of his supporters were taken aback by the reality. It became evident that Obama, often described as a stubborn pragmatist, took a different approach to governance, particularly in areas like foreign policy. Contrary to expectations, Obama expanded the scope of the “war on terror” to such an extent, while making it sustainable in a way his predecessors never did. 

In his first year as president, Obama used armed drones on a greater scale than Bush had throughout his entire presidency. From the early stages, Obama’s policy stressed the use of targeted killings, employing not only drones but also Special Forces and long-range standoff missiles. Initially wrapped in secrecy, these were later normalized and made public.

This shift towards targeted killings had a profound impact on the trajectory of the “war on terror,” extending its reach across the globe. As a result, the use of drones and other methods gradually expanded, pushing the boundaries of military operations further and further, and fundamentally transforming the nature of the conflict.

Anwar Nasser Abdulla al-Awlaki, an American imam who met his demise in Yemen in 2011 due to a drone strike authorized by President Barack Obama. This incident was the first time ever that a US citizen was killed upon orders by the President.

During Obama’s tenure as president, the frequency of drone strikes increased significantly, reaching nearly ten times the number conducted under Bush. This heightened use of drones resulted in the deaths of several thousands of people. The Air Force also began prioritising the training of drone operators over traditional aircraft pilots. 

“Light-footprint” Special Forces operated in or moved in a whopping 138 nations – or 70% of all countries in the world – in Obama’s last year in office. Actual fighting took place in at least 13 countries and targeted killing in some of those.

During the Obama presidency, approximately 1.2 million people lost their lives and 38 million people were displaced from or within countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, Philippines, Libya, and Syria.

With all this to his name, we Indians want to share our two cents with him, Mr. Obama, please do not resort to taking digs at India or advising us, you might want to focus on Michelle running for President and keep your nose out of India’s internal matters.

In 2017, Barack and Michelle Obama received a $60 million advance for the combined rights to their autobiographies.

However, this celebration has not gone well with the public and as per a New York Post article, “His birthday party is insane,” one of Obama’s caterers told The Post. “His bash is a nightmare to pull off this time of year on the tiny island — especially due to the lack of labor due to the coronavirus. What is he thinking?”.

Former US President Barack Obama has come out with his latest memoir titled “A Promised Land” in which he has opened up about several political leaders from around the world.

A review of the book carried by the The New York Times has thrown some excerpts about what the two time former POTUS thought of the leaders around the world which includes former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

About the former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Obama said he was a man of ‘impassive integrity’. “Secretary of Defense Bob Gates and the Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh both come across as having a kind of impassive integrity,” the New York Times quoted  from the book.

However, Obama’s likened Rahul Gandhi as an inept student. He says in his book “Rahul Gandhi has “a nervous, unformed quality about him, as if he were a student who’d done the coursework and was eager to impress the teacher but deep down lacked either the aptitude or the passion to master the subject.”

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had met Barack Obama when the latter visited India in 2017. He had taken a picture and shared it with the caption “Had a fruitful chat with President @Barack Obama. Great to meet him again.”

This has now come as a severe setback to the image of the Congress leader who is already referred as ‘Pappu’ (a child). The Congress leader is believed to be in Jaisalmer on vacation following the humiliating defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections and in the by-elections held across the country.

Twitter accounts of high profile individuals and companies were hacked in a freakish cyberattack where these accounts were used to promote a bitcoin scam.

All these accounts carried a similar message that said: “I am giving back to my community due to Covid-19! All Bitcoin sent to my address below will be sent back doubled. If you send $1,000 I will send back $2,000!” followed by bitcoin wallet address. “Only doing this for the next 30 minutes! Enjoy.”, the message carried.

Elon Musk, Apple, Warren Buffet, Barack Obama, Mike Bloomber, Wiz Khalifa, Jeff Bezos, Kanye West  and Joe Biden are some of the accounts that were compromised.

Some people fell for the scam and had sent money to the bitcoin address. It is estimated that, the scammers have so far amassed nearly $120,000. It seems as if the account owner is indeed sending money back out as the daily final balance has fluctuated up and down throughout the afternoon.

Following this, Twitter tweeted that they are aware of the incident and taking steps to fix it.

Twitter halted the ability of some accounts to post tweets. “You may be unable to Tweet or reset your password while we review and address the incident,” Twitter Support tweeted.
