The Hindu Munnani has lodged a complaint with the police against the opening of a Christian prayer house without permission in Theni district.
It has been alleged that prayer houses and prayer halls are being opened illegally in Tamil Nadu for the past few months without permission.
While many Hindu organizations have been complaining about the opening of prayer halls near public places and Hindu temples, a prayer house of the Indian Pentecostal Church has been opened without permission, in the village of Seepalakkottai in Theni district.
Members of the Hindu Munnani immediately rushed to the spot and lodged a complaint against the illegal opening, at a local police station. Following the complaint, the police stopped the opening of the prayer house.
